How the evening works

• 19:00 Arrive and grab a drink, have a chat

• 19:20 Team assignment – meet your squad and think of a team name!

• 19:30 Quiz starts – we have 2 breaks during the quiz

• 21:30 Final scores and prizes – winning team gets free drinks!

Depending on our group size, upon arrival, we will form teams of 4-6 people.

It’s a brilliant way to meet people in a relaxed, fun setting.

We will be mainly an English-speaking team

We’d love you to join! You’ll get cheaper tickets (€9 instead of €16), meet interesting international people, and help create the welcoming, mixed atmosphere that makes this quiz special. The questions are genuinely challenging – you won’t be bored!

All levels welcome – including absolute beginners!

Questions are asked in Dutch first, then translated to English. This means even if you’re just starting, you can practice listening and pick up words in context. Past beginners tell us it’s the best way to learn Dutch without the classroom pressure – nothing beats that moment when you realize you understood the whole Dutch question!

If you speak intermediate/advanced Dutch, challenge yourself to understand the question before the English translation, and to write the answer in Dutch. It’s a great way to expand vocabulary beyond the everyday!
