🌿 About Guest Speaker:

Adélia Saúde is a living example of continuous transformation. Born in Mozambique and raised in Portugal, she moved to the Netherlands at 22 with the resilience of a competitive athlete—she was a three-time Dutch team champion. After a decade-long career as a Radiotherapeutic Technician at Erasmus MC, she made a courageous pivot, choosing to follow a deeper calling to connect with and support people.

Today, as a Senior Executive and Occupational Health & Safety Adviser at the Municipality of Delft, and founder of her coaching practice Gold in Balance, Adélia channels her own journey of integration and transformation into empowering expat women to navigate Dutch society and thrive professionally. She understands firsthand what it takes to overcome language barriers, cultural differences, and the pressure to assimilate—and she knows that your roots are not something to leave behind, but to ground yourself in.

Alongside her work, Adélia is actively involved in leadership and entrepreneurship networks, sharing her belief that where you come from is precisely where your strength comes from.
